Top Rank is bringing the meat to the commonwealth.
Top Rank continues to load its November 8th “Top Rank on ESPN” event with top-tier talent. Sources tell Brunch Boxing that the latest addition to the card is heavyweight contender Efe Ajagba (20-1, 14 KOs), who is riding a five-fight winning streak since his lone defeat to Frank Sanchez in 2021. This fight marks Ajagba’s third appearance in the ring in the past twelve months, as he works his way back toward title contention. Ajagba’s opponent has not yet been announced.
Ajagba’s most recent victory came earlier this year when he outpointed Italy’s Guido Vianello. Ajagba’s addition adds to the already stacked card, headlined by the Keyshawn Davis vs. Gustavo Lemos showdown, which is expected to be an action-packed lightweight clash.
Ajagba’s return to the ring adds beef to the overall excitement already surrounding this event. Tickets for the event have been moving briskly after its initial release. With his growing win streak, Ajagba hopes to reclaim his status as a fighter to watch in the heavyweight division.
The event will take place at The Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia, the hometown of Davis. Top Rank is building up this card to be one of the most exciting of the year, ensuring that fans in Norfolk and viewers on ESPN are treated to a great night of boxing.
