Hurd really working well behind the jab. Jabbing to the body, jabbing to the head. Rosario having trouble finding a comfortable range to get his work done. He’s coming forward, but not effectively.

Round 2 

Hurd still working well behind the jab. He’s using the jab almost like a power shot to the head and to the body. Rosario was a bit more aggressive, but not landing much or disrupting Hurd’s rhythm. Rosario struggling to put shots together. 

Hurd 10-9 (20-18 Hurd)

Round 3

Hurd mixing in some power shots into his attack, mainly with the overhand right. A couple of three punch combinations from Hurd, coupled with the jab carried the round for Hurd. Rosario offering no resistance. 

 Hurd 10-9 (30-27 Hurd)

Round 4

Rosario throwing more power punches and doing better this round. However, Hurd is effectively countering Rosario in between shots. Towards the end of the round, a few of Rosario shots were bouncing off Hurd’s shoulder and Hurd countered him.

Hurd 10-9 (40-36 Hurd)

Round 5 

Rosario doing much better work with his power shots. He’s out-landing Hurd early. Hurd fell through the ropes as the result of him ducking. Both fighters coming forward.

Rosario 10-9 (49-46 Hurd)

Round 6

Rosario starting to really put punches together, mainly power shots. Hurd attempting to disrupt his rhythm with the jab while going backwards, but Rosario undeterred. 

Rosario 10-9 (58-56 Hurd)

Round 7

Hurd maintaining distance better this round. Hurd turning his body to about scoring shots from Rosario. Hurd countering effectively in between shots again. Hurd pushing Rosario back with combinations. 

Hurd 10-9 (68-65)

Round 8

Hurd snapped Rosario head back with a couple of jabs. He’s starting to get caught clean more with body shots. Not turning his body effectively. Hurd with a little flurry towards in the final minute. Rosario throwing chopping rights, but missing.

Hurd 10-9 (78-74 Hurd)

Round 9

Hurd surprisingly moving his head early in the round. Jabbing effectively again. Rosario attempting to counter with power shots, but Hurd ducking ever so slightly out of the way. Hurd coming forward and opening up to the body. Rosario needs a knockout. 

Hurd 10-8 (88-83 Hurd)

Round 10

Rosario fighting with desperation. Really pushing forward. Hurd on his bike. Not really throwing back. Rosario landing bug shots. Hurd taking it well.

Rosario 10-9 (97-93 Hurd)
