Premier Boxing Champions officially announced a December 14 PBC on Prime PPV bout between WBA Lightweight Champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis and WBA Super Featherweight Champion Lamont “The Reaper” Roach Jr.
Sources tell Brunch Boxing that a rematch between Stephen “Cool Boy” Fulton Jr. and Brandon “The Heartbreaker” Figueroa has been confirmed as one of the chief supporting bouts for the massive December 14 PBC on Prime PPV card.
The International Boxing Hall of Fame (IBHOF) has officially announced its nominees for the Class of 2025, and the ballot is stacked with some of the most accomplished names in the sport. Among the first-time nominees headlining the men’s modern category are eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao, four-division world champion Mikey García, former welterweight world champion Shawn Porter, and former super middleweight world champion Lucian Bute.
The WBO has officially granted Terence Crawford a 10-day extension to negotiate the terms of his mandatory junior middleweight title bout against WBO (and WBC) champion Sebastian Fundora. The deadline extension was requested by Crawford’s attorney, Harrison Whitman, and has been approved by Fundora’s promoter, Sampson Lewkowicz. The new deadline for reaching an agreement is October 10, 2024.
Devin Haney Files a Lawsuit Against Ryan García and Golden Boy Promotions, Oscar De La Hoya Responds
Former undisputed Lightweight Champion Devin Haney filed a lawsuit against Ryan García and Golden Boy Promotions. The suit alleges García broke the terms of their contract by cheating, causing damage to Haney’s reputation and future earnings. The suit also alleges that Golden Boy Promotions did not pay Haney money he is owed from the event. Golden Boy CEO Oscar De La Hoya denies these claims.
Subriel Matías and Emmanuel Rodríguez headline a thrilling six-fight event at the Rubén Rodríguez Coliseum in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. A class action lawsuit has been filed against live sports streaming service DAZN in the state of California, accusing the company of renewing certain subscriptions without providing proper disclosures required by law. The lawsuit, filed by Kyle McNair-Robinson of Riverside, California, claims DAZN violated California’s Automatic Renewal Law by charging customers without their consent.

“GGG” Gennady Golovkin has been appointed Chair of the newly formed Olympic Commission by World Boxing, the international federation established to safeguard boxing’s place in the Olympic Games.
The fervor of a passionate Puerto Rican fanbase will be on full display in a great night of boxing, as Matchroom Boxing has officially announced that undefeated Australian Liam Paro (25-0, 15 KOs) will defend his IBF Junior Welterweight Championship against mandatory challenger Richardson “Africa” Hitchins (18-0, 7 KOs) on December 7. The championship bout will take place at the historic Roberto Clemente Coliseum in San Juan, headlining an very strong card on DAZN.
Former IBF World Champion Sunny Edwards and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Gold Medalist Galal Yafai headline an action-packed night at BP Pulse LIVE in Birmingham on Saturday, November 30. The flyweight rivals will collide for the vacant WBC Interim Flyweight Championship in a bout that promises fireworks, with the winner likely to face the victor of the October 13 WBC Flyweight Championship fight between Kenshiro Teraji and Cristofer Rosales.
Top Rank has officially signed Puerto Rican amateur standout and 2024 Olympian Juanmita López De Jesús to a long-term professional contract.
