I doubt Mr. T would pity this fool!
Now I’m back after my sabbatical, except Matt ain’t pay a nigga shit. I heard that Cash App is doing what it do though.
But the point of me popping out post Black History Month is that here at Brunch Boxing we tend to operate off something most of these guys know nothing about: integrity. The gall of Zuffa and Jai Opetaia to claim unification and clamor to fight the best was nothing but advertising for an Anthony Edwards home game. WOLF TICKETS!
Dana has made a career of lying publicly with no pushback due to the compromised press rooms and an occasional aggressive comment via media with no need to back it up at all. Amidst all the clamoring for this upcoming Sunday evening bout, the face of Zuffa, Dana White, has now been called out by the International Boxing Federation (IBF). You’d think Dana was a world-class athlete with the lack of complexity and the fatuous battle he’s made with the sanctioning organizations, all to gain leverage over the boxing public essentially.

In a business built off the back of stars and personality, before Zuffa has even crowned its first champ, the draconian overview and vision of the company was laid out. No fancy robes, no elaborate fight kits, no actual personality from fighters. Aside from a few KOs, we’ve dealt with a smattering of lowbrow chud humor, à la Rod Salka and the “Build the Wall” trunks before quitting on his stool. Basically, this is the first wake-up call for Dana in the gentleman’s sport we call boxing.
One only hoped that Brandon Glanton would’ve upset the apple cart and put the Peach State on the map within the world of Zuffa. The March 8 card had the often-criticized Jai Opetaia (Ring champion and former? 2x IBF titleholder), who might get stripped of his title this time for fighting for a title the body doesn’t recognize (Rule 3.C, Part 1 & 2). The first time it was for fighting guys who did not suffice to meet its minimum requirement of facing a ranked opponent within a given time period.
Zuffa may need to tweak some things moving forward. There’s quite a bit of things I am not favorable to, but since this rant isn’t filled with bitches and mothafuckas, I may save it for my next piece. Because a nigga got shit to do and most of you fuckers got a short attention span.
