Jaron “Boots” Ennis is set to light up Philadelphia once again as he returns to the Wells Fargo Center on November 9 to defend his IBF Welterweight Championship in a rematch against Karen Chukhadzhian. Ennis hopes to build on his July victory over David Avanesyan, where he stopped Avanesyan after five rounds. Ennis dazzled the Philly crowd in his first hometown fight in years. Chukhadzhian, Ennis’s mandatory challenger, poses a chance for Ennis to clean up the only blemish of sorts on his record. The first bout was forgettable, but Ennis has a huge opportunity to impress this time around.
On the same card, Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez will defend his WBC Flyweight Championship against seasoned Mexican warrior Pedro Guevara. Presented by Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing, the exciting lineup features former champion Raymond “Savage” Ford, light-heavyweight prospect Khalil “Big Steppa” Coe, and several other rising talents in an action-packed night.

What’s At Stake: Ennis’s IBF Welterweight Championship
Analysis: Jaron Ennis’s unique blend of speed, power, and slick defense makes him one of the most devastating welterweights in the world. Fighting on his home turf again, Ennis will be eager to impress and improve upon his July victory.
Chukhadzhian is a gritty contender with solid counter-punching skills. He brings a different style challenge for Ennis, one that Ennis did not look impressive against in their first encounter. Ennis will need to balance his offensive aggression with defensive sharpness to avoid any surprises.
The fight should be a showcase for Ennis, but Chukhadzhian is a sturdy, well-rounded fighter. Though lacking Ennis’s KO power, Chukhadzhian has an awkward style that could pose challenges if Ennis isn’t at his best.
Gambling Odds
Ennis: -5000 ML, -550 KO/TKO, +470 Decision.
Chukhadzhian: +1600 ML, +3100 KO/TKO, +5000 Decision.

Total Knockdowns: Over 0.5 at -950, Under 0.5 at +550; Over 1.5 at -160, Under 1.5 at +100.
Final Thoughts: Given Ennis’s home advantage, his KO power, and Chukhadzhian’s limited experience with top-tier opponents, a knockout seems likely. Look for Ennis to end the fight in the middle rounds.

What’s At Stake: Rodriguez’s WBC Super Flyweight Championship
Analysis: Jesse Rodriguez has impressed fans with his technical prowess, especially with his high-ring IQ and impressive angles. Rodriguez faces Pedro Guevara, a veteran and former world champion. Guevara, known for his resilience and durability, has a strong track record and could present a sturdy challenge for Rodriguez, especially if he can drag the fight into the later rounds.
Rodriguez has an edge in youth and speed, and his footwork should allow him to control the distance and tempo. However, he’ll need to stay vigilant, as Guevara’s experience could prove challenging if Rodriguez underestimates him.
Gambling Odds
Rodriguez: -1800 ML, -300 KO/TKO, +340 Decision.
Guevara: +1060 ML, +1600 KO/TKO, +2900 Decision.

Gonzalez: +650 ML, +1900 KO/TKO, +1300 Decision.
Fight To Go The Distance: Yes at -215, No at +168.
Final Thoughts: Ford should have the edge in skill and speed here. While Gonzalez’s durability might keep him in it for a few rounds, Ford is likely to break through with his sharper offense.
Prediction: Ford KO/TKO
Khalil Coe (9-0-1, 7 KOs) vs. Manuel Gallegos (20-2-1, 17 KOs)
What’s At Stake: No title at stake
Analysis: Light-heavyweight prospect Khalil “Big Steppa” Coe will be aiming to make another strong statement against Manuel Gallegos. This bout is a bit of a measuring stick for Coe, as Gallegos took on light-heavyweight prospect Diego Pacheco in his last bout. Pacheco stopped him in the fourth round. Coe will look to equal or surpass that performance, possibly setting up a future showdown with Pacheco. Coe’s power and aggressiveness make him a dangerous opponent for any fighter, but Gallegos has proven resilience and can withstand a lot of punishment.
Gambling Odds
Coe: -1350 ML
Gallegos: +620 ML
Final Thoughts: Expect Coe to dominate with his power, likely leading to a knockout.
