Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian have now filled a massive boxing void on both sides of the pond.
Brunch Boxing has confirmed that Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) has secured a multi-year agreement with Sky Sports. The landmark agreement will see the company’s forthcoming MVPW series regularly aired on the subscription giant throughout the U.K. and Ireland, in addition to its events being carried on ESPN platforms in the U.S.
Their deal will be officially consummated with MVP’s U.K. launch show this Sunday, with the Caroline Dubois-Terri Harper unification bout topping MVPW-01 all all-women’s event featuring four major title fights from London’s Olympia. Sunday’s offering will be one of two guaranteed all-female U.K. shows for MVP to air exclusively on Sky Sports.
“This partnership with Sky Sports marks a major milestone for MVPW and women’s boxing globally,” MVP co-founders Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian told Brunch Boxing in a provided joint statement. “Through MVPW, we are committed to delivering meaningful opportunities for fighters while producing premium events that expand the global reach and commercial potential of women’s boxing.
“Bringing two premium all-female MVPW events to the UK and Ireland each year, starting with the historic MVPW-01 on Sunday, April 5 at London’s Olympia, is exactly what we envisioned when we launched this platform.”
Sunday’s show also features lineal and unified super bantamweight champion Ellie Scotney (11-0, 0 KOs) and WBA titlist Mayelli Flores (13-1-1, 4 KOs) in a scheduled 10-round undisputed championship.
Scotney aims to become just the second British woman to achieve fully unified title status. Dubois-Harper is just the nation’s fourth-ever unification bout between two reigning titleholders from the U.K.
Less than two weeks later, the MVPW series makes its way stateside, when Alycia Baumgardner (17-1, 7 KOs) risks her unified 130-pound championship versus former title challenger Bo Mi Re Shin. Their clash – scheduled for 10, three-minute rounds – takes place on April 17 from Madison Square Garden’s Infosys Theater in New York City.

The show also features unified super middleweight champion Shadasia Green in a title defense versus Lani Daniels in a scheduled 10-round contest. Both bouts will air live on ESPN and Sky Sports, under the new agreement with both platforms.
“This agreement with MVP underlines Sky Sports’ ambition to showcase the very best in women’s boxing to sports fans and new audiences,” said Jonathan Licht, chief officer of Sky Sports in UK & Ireland. “As the UK and Ireland’s biggest investor in and broadcaster of women’s sport, we are proud to be part of the momentum women’s boxing is enjoying and adding the sport to our unrivalled line-up.
“2026 is set to be a huge year yet again for women’s sport with the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup on home soil as well as the Solheim Cup, WSL and more, all live on Sky Sports.”

Tuesday’s groundbreaking news provides Sky Sports with a steady stream of boxing content, as will the platform’s recently inked deal with Zuffa Boxing. The MVPW series features a more familiar brand to viewers, who’ve grown familiar with the roster of fighters offered by Ben Shalom’s BOXXER, including unified welterweight champion Lauren Price.
Also of note to have aired on Sky Sports was the historic all-women’s card in October 2022, topped by Claressa Shields’ decision win over Savannah Marshall in their full middleweight title unification match and supported by Baumgardner’s disputed points victory over Mikaela Mayer in their three-belt super featherweight championship grudge match.
Dubois scored a knockout victory on the undercard, eight months into her pro career.
BOXXER’s four-year deal with Sky Sports ended last June, a run that bridged the gap after Matchroom Boxing ended its relationship with Sky Sports to take its entire roster to DAZN.
MVP saw the wisdom in partnering up with the platform long known as the undisputed king of U.K. boxing – and the timing in launching its brand in England.
“We have the best female British boxers in the world and Sky Sports is the perfect home to showcase the elite talent and championship-level action that defines MVPW,” insisted Bidarian. “Together, we’re committed to continuing to elevate women’s boxing to the main stage it deserves, delivering unforgettable nights for fans across the UK and beyond.”
